In 2013, while struggling with anxiety, I was introduced to mindfulness and meditation. I started meditating and slowly built a regular practice that turned into daily meditation. As I continued to seek help for anxiety, I found self-compassion. This was life-changing for me. Using both of these skills helped me to build a foundation of awareness and kindness towards myself that I didn’t have before when dealing with situations that were difficult. I learned how to notice when I spoke to myself negatively and how to instead use kindness and compassion.
My mission is to provide unique and empowering programs that embrace growth. My commitment is to inspire joy, hope, and connection and honor the inner wisdom within each of us.When I went on a self-compassion retreat in 2018, it opened a space where I could meet myself with a new understanding. I knew I was called to help others as I saw how I wasn’t the only one who dealt with an inner critic. So, I started training in the personal growth and mindfulness field because I knew I wanted to share what I have learned with anyone else who may be struggling.
